Odds and ends! (and a quick q)

Couple things!

1) Upgraded the Mulch Map!

It has the exact location of 1 million trees — complete with species information and approximate diameter — and we’ve added stewardship fields (associated user, location name) and a built-in street view (in beta!) to make selecting street trees easier.

2) Do you want plants?

I was able to get a corporate account at a wholesaler in Long Island so now I can get plants pretty discounted (close to 50-70% off what you’d buy in a store in NYC). They have high-quality everything — indoors, outdoors — and I was thinking about just aggregating orders, making a run, and passing the savings on.

Wasn’t sure if anyone would want this — is this of interest to you?
